Title: Graduate Assistant

Salary Range: $23-27/an hr (travel reimbursed)

Summary: Chaberton Energy is seeking a graduate assistant to support research, stakeholder engagement preparation, and community landscape analysis to help inform project development for community solar and battery storage projects in Illinois. This role is ideal for students interested in climate solutions, community-centered development, public policy, and energy infrastructure, and offers exposure to how renewable energy projects are developed in practice—including how community input can shape outcomes that are both locally responsive and commercially viable.

Transportation and Mobility Fellow - Evanston

 Title:  Transportation and Mobility Fellow 

Type: 300 – 600 hours over the eight-month assignment

Location: Evanston, IL

Pay:  $25.00-$28.00/HOUR

This temporary role offers flexible scheduling and is expected to work between 300 – 600 hours over the eight-month assignment. The responsibilities are focused on coordinating community engagement and supporting transportation policy development through a blend of community outreach, data management, and program and policy development. Key responsibilities include coordinating in-person public events, developing communication materials to promote city mobility programs, and researching transportation policies. 

 

This role has the potential for hybrid work with a focus on onsite outreach and office work.
