King W. Harris Summer Intern – Metropolitan Planning Council

Who: Metropolitan Planning Council, Chicago.

What: MPC is seeking talented candidates for our inaugural King W. Harris Summer Internship, named in honor of MPC’s former Board Chair and current Senior Fellow for Housing. The ideal candidate will have the research skills, relevant topical knowledge and organizational acumen to advance multiple MPC Housing and Community Development priorities. Summer Campaign Associate - Kwame Raoul Attorney General Campaign

Who: Kwame Raoul Attorney General Campaign

What: Summer Campaign Associates will be exposed to a wide array of campaign operations including but not limited to field organizing, campaign communications, research, event coordination, social media outreach and direct voter interaction. Specific positions are available in the communications, organizing, and policy and research departments.
The internship will run from June 4, 2018 through August 31, 2018. Successful candidates may request to remain involved with the campaign through the General Election on November 4, 2018.

Community Development Intern (Lincolnwood)

Who: Village of Lincolnwood, Department of Community Development

What: The position is expected to assist with the administration of the Community Development Department and to provide support for ongoing activities. The duties of the position include undertaking and preparing research, minute-taking, participation in committees, preparation of presentations, webmaster for the Department’s webpages, and serving as an ombudsman for the Department. The Intern is expected to provide research and develop documents for consideration by various bodies including the Economic Development Commission, Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Who: Chicago Transit Authority - Planning Department

What: 2018 Summer Internship Program - CTA is currently hiring full-time, temporary internships for the Summer 2018. Internship opportunities are project based, which means interns are assigned to specific, real-world projects that create meaningful impact on CTA and its customers.
