Graduate Hourly Assistant - Institute for Health Research and Policy (closes 6/14)

Who: Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago

What: The Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago is hiring a Graduate Hourly Research Assistant for the summer of 2019 with the possibility of extension. The position requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time and the ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week during normal business hours. The appropriate candidate will conduct literature and media searches around beverage taxation. Interested candidates should have familiarity and experience with search engines, literature databases (e.g., ProQuest), and software such as Microsoft Office and EndNote. Ideally, candidates will be organized, have high attention to detail, and possess good time management skills.

Internship - The Resurrection Project

Who: The Resurrection Project is a non‐for‐profit organization that strives to create healthy communities through education, organizing, and community development. The Resurrection Project’s mission is to build relationships and challenge individuals to act on their faith and values by creating community ownership, building community wealth, and serving as stewards of community assets.

What: The Resurrection Internship Program is a paid internship opportunity that provides full time college undergraduates an opportunity to be exposed to the intricate components to sustaining a non-for –profit entity. In addition, the program provides career readiness, leadership training, peer to peer network, and mentorship all while developing the soft and technical skills that will prepare them post graduation.

Who is eligible to participate in The Resurrection Internship Program?

Only full-time undergraduate students, who are 18 years and older, pre-qualifyshould complete a the Resurrection Internship Program Applicationand supply required documentation. To find out if you pre-qualify, be truthful in answering the following questions:

Important Dates

At the Resurrection Project, the Academic Year begins mid-August 2019 and runs through mid-May 2020 (9 months). Our Academic Year is adjusted to match your university’s term.

*Note: Participation in the Pre-Work Orientation, Leadership Training, and the Career Readiness Workshop Series is required. Failure to participate will result in disqualification and/or removal from The Resurrection InternshipProgram.
