Internship Program - San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA)

Subject: SFMTA Summer Internship Program is Now Accepting Applications for Planner and Engineers

 

Calling aspiring transportation planners and engineers!

 

We are currently accepting applications for San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency’s (SFMTA) summer internship program through Monday, January 9, 2023. Gain valuable on-the-job experience under the guidance of experienced transportation professionals. Interns will participate in transportation planning and engineering activities including:

  • Plan, design, and implement bicycle, pedestrian, safety, or complete streets projects
  • Transit planning for Muni, the City of San Francisco’s transit agency
  • Perform community outreach and engagement
  • Attend field trips and seminars to learn about various teams within the agency

How to apply:

Step 1. Visit careers.sf.gov

Step 2. Enter ‘intern’ in the search box to find a list of the intern positions

Step 3. Choose which SFMTA intern position/s you are interested in and submit an application. Be sure you meet the criteria for each individual position that you are applying for. The deadline to apply is January 9, 2023.
