Graduate Assistant Position(s), Early Childhood Education Policy - UIC College of Education

GA Position for Fall '23 (67% plus tuition and fee waiver) 

 

Position Roles:  

  • Support the work of various committee(s) related to early childhood workforce development, including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, conducting background research, analyzing data, and in partnership with key stakeholders, staff, and faculty developing program and policy recommendations. 
    • Support roll-out of the Illinois Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program (IECAP) pilot.
    • Conceptualize, write, and disseminate a variety of materials including policy analyses, policy briefs, articles and other documents. Collaborate with other staff and/or partner organizations to draft and produce high quality documents that meet the needs of a variety of different audiences.
  • Responsible for project management of specific projects as assigned.
  • Report to Director of ECE,  College of Education
