Progress of Ideas Scholarship - Robert Schalkenbach Foundation (RSF)

For the third consecutive year, the Robert Schalkenbach Foundation (RSF) is offering the Progress of Ideas Scholarship. I hope you will share this with college and graduate students affiliated with your organization.

  • Who is eligible? Students studying a variety of disciplines related to the Foundation's mission, including Economics, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Finance or Real Estate, History, Geography, Philosophy, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, Sociology, Urban Analytics, and Urban Studies.
  • When can funds be used? Junior and senior years of undergraduate study and throughout graduate school.
  • What is covered? The scholarship can be used to support all costs of attendance as defined by the IRS.
  • How much is the award? Scholars are eligible for $5,000 per academic year for up to two years.
  • When will awards be made? Funds will be distributed to support studies in the 2024-25 academic year.
