Who: The UIC Center for Literacy’s FAmily STart (FAST) Learning and Support program administers Adult Education and Career Transition services in high need areas in Chicago.

What: 50-67% STEM Graduate/Research Assistantship, Alternative Adult High School Equivalency Teaching Assistant Position.
Do you want to use your creativity + Math/Science content knowledge to help create an innovative, competency-based curriculum based on more than a standardized test so more Illinois adults can earn their high school diploma? The STEM Instructor will research and develop curriculum and on an innovative, competency-based project by developing project-based learning assessments for adults (as an alternative to standardized test preparation) and teach in the community off campus.
