What: 25% time Graduate Research Assistantship (R.A.) for fall, spring, and summer from August 2018-August 2019. The appointment will be 10 hours per week.
The primary scope of the AANAPISI Graduate Assistant's responsibilities will be to provide research support for the AANAPISI Principal Investigator and Project Director. Responsibilities will include:
- Research and administrative support for the PI's teaching and research areas. This will include curriculum development for a course on Asian American Gender and Sexual Diversity, research support for work on Asian American children's books, and research support/administrative support for courses on Asian American and Pacific Islander college students in higher education.
- Research and program coordination support for a new campus public events/speakers initiative focusing on free speech and diversity of ideas and viewpoints in relation to Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
- Some administrative support for grant team management as needed.
