This assistantship is supported by the UIC Asian American and Native American Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) Initiative. Due to the federal funding restrictions for the UIC AANAPISI Initiative, graduate employees must be non-international UIC students who are enrolled full-time during the academic year. In the summer, students do not have to be enrolled as long as they will be enrolled in the fall (proof from their program is required). While students who have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)(http://www.uic.edu/depts/oaa/diversity/sdsb.html) are eligible for student employment at UIC, we regret that DACA students are not eligible for employment in this program due to federal grant restrictions.

Students must meet the criteria outlined in the Policy on the Appointment of Graduate Assistants. To review criteria or for additional general information on UIC graduate assistantships, see: https://www.hr.uic.edu/uic101/ga/. This position will begin August 2018.
