Deadline: March 31
The Illinois Housing Council (IHC) has launched the Emerging Leader Internship (ELI) Program. Through this program, IHC aims to provide opportunities for underrepresented populations to learn more about the affordable housing industry and develop a diverse pipeline of new affordable housing professionals.
Please help us by sharing this opportunity with your networks. We encourage anyone interested in learning more about professional opportunities in affordable housing and persons of color, women, first generation college students, and residents of underserved communities to apply.
The ELI is a 10-week paid summer internship program. Interns will be placed at a Host Company where they will get direct experience in the field of affordable housing development. IHC will offer interns supplemental learning opportunities such as lunch-and-learns, trainings, and property tours.
Applicants will have the opportunity to apply to ten summer internships in the affordable housing industry through the ELI program. Positions are available in Chicago, Evanston, Skokie, and Springfield, IL. Review the available positions here.
Apply here by March 31.
