Spring 2019 Teaching Assistant, African American Studies

Who: African American Studies is seeking a graduate student to TA for AAST 100: Introduction to African American Studies for the Spring 2019 semester.

What: Teaching assistants will be responsible for performing teaching or teaching-related duties to assist faculty members. Under the direction of a faculty member, TAs will lead discussion sections, proctor exams, grade tests and homework, and record grades in the grade book. Applicant should have research experience in African American studies.
The teaching assistantship is a 50% appointment and comes with a tuition waiver.
