Opportunity Description:

2023 IDA Annual Conference – Volunteer Opportunity

The International Downtown Association (IDA) and Chicago Loop Alliance (CLA) are co-hosting the 2023 IDA Annual Conference and Marketplace in Chicago in October. The 2023 conference theme is Community, Culture and Commerce, with a primary focus on Urban Planning, Design and Infrastructure, Public Space Management, Economic Development, Public Events, Sustainability and more.

 

CLA is recruiting volunteers who can support the conference. They are an integral part of making the conference a smooth and huge success!

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Registration desk support
  • Monitoring capacity within meeting rooms
  • Wayfinding for conference attendees
  • Tracking session times and transitioning into sessions/modules
  • Assistance with tours

 

As a token of appreciation, each volunteer will receive a t-shirt.
