Who: Village of Grayslake, Village Manager’s office
What: This position is responsible for assisting the Village departments in the administration and coordination of various organizational functions and programs. The duties of the Administrative Intern may include performing various analyses and evaluation of Village operations, assisting in the development and dissemination of public information to Village residents, assisting in the development and implementation of special programs and projects, and coordinating with residents and staff in completing resident requests for service.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
is required. Previous experience in a local government setting or similar experience is preferred.
The successful applicant must be available to work up to 20-hours per week during regular hours of operation, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The pay for this position is $15 per hour with no additional benefits.
